Shaheen Air International commenced its operations in December 1993 on a single domestic sector. Within a short span, SAI became the first private international airline to be honored with the title of 2nd National Carrier of Pakistan.

Since then SAI has been in a perpetual pursuit of excellence in operations and services, expanding its fleet, and acquiring new routes.

Shaheen Air has two weekly flights, from Kuwait to Islamabad and Lahore with plans for additional flights in the future.
