Air China was granted traffic rights to operate between Beijing and Kuwait in 1987. A bilateral agreement was signed with a major supportive role of Boodai Aviation resulted into two weekly flights to Beijing with a fifth freedom traffic rights between Kuwait and Karachi.

Air China currently has a total of 69 airplanes and operates 114 routes, including 43 international routes and 71 domestic ones.

The registered logo of Air China is a soaring phoenix, representing good luck. The old Chinese legend says that the phoenix will bring good luck and peace wherever it flies.
